Application process
How the journey works, step by step
Bridgeway supports you through each stage of applying to study medicine in Bulgaria. We help you prepare a complete, accurate application — final admission decisions are always made by the university itself.
- 1
Initial consultation
We start with a conversation about your academic background, goals and timeline, so we can give you honest, relevant guidance.
- 2
Eligibility review
We review your qualifications and results against typical entry expectations for Bulgarian medical universities.
- 3
University selection
We help you compare universities — programme structure, city, and other factors that matter to you — so you can choose where to apply.
- 4
Documentation preparation
We guide you through gathering and preparing the documents your chosen university needs, including any translation or certification steps.
- 5
Application submission
We support you in submitting a complete, accurate application to your chosen university or universities.
- 6
Entrance examination preparation
Where a university requires an entrance assessment, we help you understand its format and what to prepare, based on the current guidance from the university.
- 7
Offer & admission
Admission decisions are made solely by the university. If you receive an offer, we help you understand and respond to it.
- 8
Pre-departure guidance
Once your place is confirmed, we help you prepare practically for studying and living in Bulgaria.
A note on admissions
What Bridgeway can and can't decide
Bridgeway helps you prepare and present the strongest possible application, but we do not make admissions decisions, and we cannot guarantee that any university will offer you a place. Universities assess every application against their own entry requirements.
